Dog, Riding: This Medium dog is specially trained to carry a Small humanoid rider. It is brave in combat like a warhorse. You take no damage when you fall from a riding dog.

然则你这句是在哪一部份里的？

明显是战斗部分的……
恩，是怪物资料部分的

然则在技能，战斗和装备部分都没有相关记述
如此，只能说也许是可以训练的。

终于被我在3E的FAQ里找到了
When you purchase barding for a mount, is it proficient
in the armor, or does the mount take the armor check
penalty?
Anyone wearing armor takes the appropriate armor check
penalty. Trained war mounts are proficient in light, medium,
and heavy armor, while untrained mounts are not proficient in
any kind of armor, and they take additional penalties for
untrained armor use as noted on page 80 of the Player’s
Handbook.
