首先，熟练施法者能够使施法者等级+4，但不能使施法者等级高于HD，如果选择专长时，由于HD的原因你的CL实际上没有+4，以后你提升HD时，CL也会提升。

那么假设这么一种情况：一个狗头人战士4/术士2，他选了熟练施法者，所以术士CL为2+4=6。接下来，他完成了Rotd WE上的Greater Draconic Rite of Passage（http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060420a），获得了额外的1级术士法术知晓和施法者等级。

于是问题来了：现在他的施法者等级是多少？

答案1：是6，因为既然熟练施法者专长会随着HD提升而自动补上不满+4的部分，那么反过来，当你的施法者等级超过HD的时候，它的加成也应该自动降下来。
答案2：是7，因为本专长的效果已经完全作用于你了，不应该影响到你之后的CL。

其实不光是这种情况，什么利用UMD使用魔力念珠，CL+1的艾恩石，各种提升CL的进阶职业等等，都可能达成类似的效果……

FAQ里说：
 Does the bonus to caster level from the Practiced
Spellcaster feat (from CAr and CD) apply before or after
other caster level bonuses (such as those from the Good or
Healing domains)?

  The bonus from Practiced Spellcaster applies whenever it
would be most beneficial to the caster. A 4th-level cleric/4th-
level fighter with the Healing domain and Practiced Spellcaster
would cast Conjuration (Healing) spells as a 9th-level caster
(base caster level 4th, +4 from Practiced Spellcaster, +1 from
the Healing domain). A 4th-level cleric/4th-level rogue with
Practiced Spellcaster who activates a bead of karma (from a
strand of prayer beads) would cast her spells as a 12th-level
caster (base 4, +4 from Practiced Spellcaster, +4 from bead of
karma).

不过practiced spellcaster和wild mage并存的时候是先算+1d6

这个例子里超过HD了应该是1把，只要你那个Greater Draconic Rite of Passage没有提供额外的HD,熟练施法者就不能继续提升，只能到6

warlock would gain no benefit from Practiced Spellcaster. The
warlock is not a spellcasting class for normal purposes—the

class benefits—and thus it could not be selected as the class to
be affected by this feat.
